Trekking to Choquequirao, Peru

It was all was good on this trek to the Peru's lost city of Choquequirao. Very, very good in fact. ... somehow I personally never get over the excitement of walking in the footsteps of the Inca - especially at that moment you come upon the spectacular ruins, all spread out before you as though they've simply sprung up from the vegetation.

There was a real sense of pristine wilderness during the trekking - we hardly saw another soul, and the excellent weather cast everything (and everyone!) in its best hue.
