Mountain Biking - Bhutan & the Himalayas

October 2007 saw the first Wilderness Journeys mountain biking group wheel into the fabled Kingdom of Bhutan. What an amazing and memorable two weeks it was!

With so much of the country ripe for mountain bike exploration, plenty of first descents were bagged as we deviated from the itinerary where nature would allow. The mountain biking highlight was arguably another incredible singletrack descent in the Punakha Valley
