Mountain Biking in the Picos de Europa

If I didn't live in God's own country (Scotland!), it would have to be The Picos de Europa. I just simply love this northern outpost of Spain. Perhaps it's the weather that makes me feel at home; after all there are not many places in Spain where you need a Gore-tex jacket on the beach in mid-summer!

I'm exaggerating, of course. In fact, the weather here is usually tip-top during the summer months. The rain that falls tend to refresh the air and give colour to those amazing Cantabrian landscapes
