SKI TOURING / MOUTAINEERING
Our ski touring trips allow you the opportunity to cut the first tracks, to explore the mountains on skis beyond the confines of the ski resorts and to enjoy perhaps the ultimate wilderness experience.

In Scotland, we run a number of small group trips on regular dates throughout the summer.

LUXURY ADVENTURES & HONEYMOONS
If you are planning a honeymoon or simply a luxury holiday, you can select one of our recommended itineraries for private groups or we can prepare a bespoke proposal for you. If you would like a bespoke proposal, these are normally based on one of our existing itineraries but we recommend that you call us so that we can discuss exactly the kind of holiday you would like to experience. WILDERNESS ECOLODGES
We work with a number of Eco Lodges in Africa and South America. These can be booked by private groups, sometimes on an exclusive basis or simply by the room. Many of the Eco Lodges we work with are community-owned and managed. This means that, as well as enjoying genuine hospitailty, your stay at the Eco Lodge helps the local economy, providing local jobs and wages in regions where many people struggle to earn a living.
It is worth stressing that just because an Eco Lodge is community owned, it does not mean that it is basic! Many lodges have benefited from consultancy advice, sometimes directly from Wilderness Journeys, as they set up. This means that they provide high quality accommodation with an equally high standard of service. Some options for Eco Lodge stays include:

WILDLIFE & SAFARI
A safari in Africa is one of life's great experiences. A wildlife safari can be enjoyed in a vehicle or by boat. However, you can get even closer if you opt for a walking safari or a canoeing safari. These are experiences you will treasure for a lifetime.
The selection of wildlife safaris we organise include all of the above options. So whether you are planning your first safari or if you visit Africa every year, we have a safari experience that is perfect for you.
Our safaris visit many of the classic regions such as the Maasai Mara in Kenya, the Serengeti in Tanzania and the Okavango Delta in Botswana. However, we also feature many of those countries lesser known but equally fascinating destinations, as well as other locations such as Etosha in Namibia and Liwonde in Malawi.
