COUNTRY OVERVIEW

Norway

For lovers of wilderness and the great outdoors, an adventure holiday in Norway is a superb experience.  While the fjords are famous, much of the country is covered by mountains and spectacular landscapes which lend themselves perfectly to a number of activities such as sea kayaking, ski touring and trekking.

The Vega Peninsula is one of the best places for sea kayaking in Norway. Beautifully sculpted mountains drop steeply into deep fjords, which are dotted with over 500 tiny islands - it is an awe-inspiring place to kayak. Our sea kayaking holiday in Norway was our first adventure in Norway but it won't be our last!

The Lofoten Islands have a special draw for many people. Our self guided walking holiday is a great way to explore these islands, enjoying some great hikes amidst spectacular scenery.

At the moment, we are actively researching a new ski touring trip in the Arctic Circle near Tromso and also plan to introduce a walking holiday in Norway to explore its incredible landscapes on foot.

If you would like to enjoy an adventure holiday in Norway, please contact us to discuss options. It is a fantastic country to explore and we can prepare some outstanding  bespoke wilderness adventures for you, whatever your preferred activity.
